About William H. Smith

William Smith was born and raised in South Texas. He has first-hand experiences living and working on ranches and with cattle.

William is a self-taught artist who loves the Western Heritage and it is here where he finds his inspiration for most of his paintings. He tries to create "memories" for those who view his art work.

His works have been displayed in the Corpus Christi Art Center, Bryant Gallery and Connor Museum (Kingsville, Texas), South Texas Museum (Alice, Texas), Art Center of the Islands (Port Aransas, Texas), and the Beeville Art Museum.
